Insureds Pay 2008 Assessment and, if Needed, Mcare will Refund
Insurance carriers have been directed by the state to bill assessments without abatements. Prompt payment will minimize Mcare claims coverage problems arising from late remission of 2008 assessments and facilitate the refund of 2008 abatements if the Abatement Program is extended into 2008. |
